Fertile eggs: Fertile eggs of Vanaraja are available at this Directorate on all working days on payment basis. Eggs have to be stored in a cool place till they are set for hatching. About 10-12 eggs can be set under a broody Desi hen for better hatchability. Eggs in large nos. can be hatched in commercial incubators.

 

Day old Vanaraja chicks: Day old Vanaraja chicks are available on advance payment. Payments can be made through DD drawn in favour of “Project Director, Project Directorate on Poultry, Hyderabad” and should be sent to “The Project Director, Project Directorate on Poultry, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad 500 030”. For effective communication, it is requested to give the contact telephone number of the customer. After receiving the DD, the Directorate will intimate the likely date of supply of the chicks. The customers are required to receive the birds from Project Directorate on Poultry.
