Won by germplasm

The germplasm developed by the Directorate received 14 prizes in different categories in various Livestock & Poultry Shows held in 1998, 1999. The prizes won by Vanaraja, the dual purpose bird for free range farming, are particularly highly satisfying. It won the Best bird of the Show award in the national level livestock and poultry show 1998.
