Infrastructure Facilities
Infrastructure development was considered as one of the priority in a growing Institute.  Like previous years this year several improvements were made in the infrastructure facilities to meet the growing need for the research and development activities.  The developments during this year was as follows:

  1. Renovation of AI lab, data lab, both the nutrition labs and one health lab was undertaken to make provision for more working space.
  2. Providing air cinditioners to the central instrumentation lab, egg storage unit at hatchery and table egg storage unit.
  3. Lab equipments worth about Rs.35.00 lakhs were purchased during the current financial year.
  4. Working trolley, cycle rickshaw and few other farm equipments were purchased during this year.   Also, the layer and broiler sheds were provided with fogging system to reduce the in-house temperature during summer months
  5. Weighing balances of various units of the Directorate.
  6. The committee room was provided with audiovisual (TV) unit for effective scientific presentations and other deliberrations.
  7. Renovation of the old poultry sheds the construction of new roads from the new farm to the incinerator room was undertaken during the period.
