Library

The Library of this Directorate has steadily developed to accommodate Indian and Foreign Journals/Magazines of Poultry Science and allied disciplines. The library is subscribing nineteen foreign journals and fourteen Indian journals/magazines respectively. At present, around 500 textbooks on different topics of poultry science and other subjects are available in the library. In addition to this daily newspapers and magazines in three languages i.e. Hindi, Telugu and English have been subscribing.

The library is having the resource full reference material which will be verymuch helpful to our scientists and scholars in their routine research works and as well for research scholars of other veterinary scientists of other Institutes and Universities. Apart from this photocopying facility was provided in the library for taking copies of necessary articles for reference purpose from journals.

The library is having the modernized facility of electronic database in the form of (VET-CD's and BEAST-CD's). Which covers the abstracts from 1973 to 2001. The information available in this CD-ROM's will be verymuch helpful to our scientists and scholars in their routine research works and as well for research scholars of other veterinary scientists of other Institutes and Universities.
