Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, Secretary (DARE) and DG (ICAR) visited the Directorate alongwith Shri Chabilendra Roul, Secretary (ICAR) on 26th March 2016. The dignitaries visited the hatchery, farm and lab facilities and interacted with the staff. Dr. R.N. Chatterjee, Director, DPR explained the activities of the Directorate and also achievements of the Institute to the DG, ICAR.  Dr. Mohapatra complimented the Directorate for the facilities created and the research contributions. He emphasised the need for consolidated research efforts in frontier areas of research like genomic selection, disease resistance, value added cereals as poultry feed, etc.
