Dr. Joykrushna Jena, DDG (Animal Science, Act.) visits ICAR-DPR
Dr. Joykrushna Jena, DDG (Animal Science, Act.) visited ICAR-DPR on 18th August 2017. Dr. R.N. Chatterjee, Director showed the labs, hatchery and farm of the institute and explained about the ongoing research and extension activities. During the visit, Dr. Jena inaugurated the newly built experimental “Broiler Cage House”, meant for housing pedigreed pureline populations. Dr. Jena showed keen interest in the institute activities and interacted with the scientists, working in different disciplines. He appreciated the research contributions of the institute and advised to sustain the efforts for further development of poultry production in the country.
